About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain a high standard of excellence within staff
- Assign duties to housekeeping personnel
- Prep rooms for housekeepers during busy/peak periods as needed
- Clean rooms using MasterCorp’s 7-step cleaning process during busy/peak periods as needed
- Assist in training existing staff and new recruits
- Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure
- Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear and report as necessary
- Inspect and prepare clean units and report them as vacant and ready
- Inspect units and complete the required amount of report cards per week
- Replace kitchen inventory and supplies as needed
- Maintain clean and organized storage closets
- Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper
- Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
- Ensure housekeeping staff maintain urgency so units are turned on time
- Be prompt with all assignments and appointments
- Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
- Perform inventory and linen supplies
- Assist in linen inventories as directed
- Manage time efficiency of direct reports
- Assist in solving guest complaints promptly
- Cultivate and develop strong, positive customer relations
- Assist resort guests and owners
- Maintain knowledge of the resort
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in conjunction with contracted client services
Requirements
What you’ll need- A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- A passion for cleanliness

- Work irregular hours
- Willing and able to perform all duties related to site operation as directed by the Executive Housekeeper
- Travel for Resort Operations: Rare — approximately 5% on a quarterly basis
- Task Force travel: Frequent — travel is regularly required based on business need
- Frequently able to stand, walk, push, pull, move, lift up to 25 lbs, bend, reach, occasionally ascend/descend, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations as applicable
