Key responsibilities & impact

Gain real-world experience solving challenges to improve the user experience
Design and implement machine learning algorithms for Recommendation, Trust, Profile, Chat, Growth, or Revenue domains
Formulate ML models for production problems under guidance
Work closely with senior engineers to develop machine learning solutions supporting Tinder’s business goals
Participate in the annual Tindership Hackathon and present with the team to Tinder employees and executives
Build and deploy ML solutions across Tinder’s product domains to enhance user experiences, foster trust, and accelerate business growth

Requirements

What you’ll need

Aspiring ML Engineer excited to work on large-scale challenges with cutting-edge technology
Practical knowledge of building efficient end-to-end ML workflows
Proficient in Python
Hands-on experience designing and building ML models
Foundational knowledge of computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms
Currently pursuing a BS/BA or MS in Computer Science or a related field
Publications in top ML or data science conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, RecSys, KDD) — nice to have
Experience deploying ML models in production environments — nice to have
Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras — nice to have
Experience with Databricks, Spark, or Airflow — nice to have
Proficiency in Go, Java, or Scala — nice to have
