About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740, including deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances, and effective tax rate reconciliations
  • Prepare and review assigned federal and state income tax compliance, including estimated payments and supporting workpapers
  • Review assigned foreign income tax return filings and associated return-to-provision calculations
  • Maintain and document accounting and compliance internal controls and procedures under SOX 404 guidelines
  • Monitor tax laws, regulations, rules, and accounting pronouncements affecting Match Group
  • Support tax audits and appeals
  • Prepare and maintain deferred tax accounts
  • Analyze tax records and reports
  • Support Match Group's tax accounting, reporting, and income tax compliance obligations
  • Report to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting & Compliance and coordinate with the broader Tax group and outsourced preparers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3–5 years of tax experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision or equivalent tax provision software
  • Master's degree in Tax preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills
