Key responsibilities & impact

Set the global strategy for drafting, negotiating, and managing procurement, vendor, and SaaS/technology agreements
Lead the Legal Operations function, including contract lifecycle management, billing, and legal-tech tooling strategy and execution
Reimagine commercial contracting by using AI to accelerate and automate review, drafting, negotiation support, and risk triage
Support central functions including procurement, workplace experience, finance, real estate, and operations
Develop playbooks, templates, and governance for scalable commercial contracting support
Identify and escalate legal and business risk in vendor and procurement relationships
Serve as a senior point of contact for procurement, finance, and vendor management
Build and scale the consolidated commercial contracting function across Match Group’s global brands
Lead a team of 4 to 6 legal professionals
Report to the SVP of Legal

What you’ll need

15+ years of experience in commercial contracting, procurement, or vendor management functions
Significant negotiation and people-management experience
Substantial experience managing or leading a Legal Operations function, ideally for a global Legal Team
Experience leading and mentoring attorneys and building high-performing teams
In-house experience at a technology company
Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment or multi-brand/multi-business-unit organization
Deep experience negotiating and structuring SaaS, technology licensing, procurement, and other vendor agreements at scale
Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or contract AI platforms
Track record of building or scaling a function and leading through change
Strong business judgment and executive presence
J.D. from an accredited institution
Active law license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Comfortable with significant autonomy
