About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own content strategy and the editorial calendar across the blog, resource center, research reports, and executive thought leadership
  • Lead the original research program, including the State of Workspace Security report franchise, in partnership with Threat Research
  • Write and edit research reports, technical blog posts, category POV pieces, web copy, video scripts, and campaign content
  • Own the website content layer and answer-engine optimization; structure content so AI search engines cite Material
  • Track share of model against competitors
  • Drive the category narrative with product marketing and turn positioning into published arguments
  • Build content-led campaigns with demand generation and deliver conversion-focused assets under a clear SLA
  • Partner with founders, engineers, and security researchers to source insights and maintain technical credibility
  • Measure pipeline influence, citation share, and engagement data, and discontinue ineffective content

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in content marketing, editorial, tech journalism, or security research writing
  • Meaningful experience in B2B, security, or infrastructure
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a portfolio spanning long-form research or reporting, technical explainers, and short-form content
  • Experience turning datasets, telemetry, or survey research into published work that earned coverage and citations
  • Sufficient security knowledge to interview detection engineers and write credibly for CISO audiences
  • Working knowledge of SEO and hands-on experience with AEO/GEO
  • Experience running a content function end to end: strategy, calendar, production, review, publication, distribution, and measurement
  • Opinions about what makes security content worth reading, supported by demonstrated work
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
