About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a core product area end to end, including strategy, multi-quarter roadmap, prioritisation, resourcing and commercial outcomes
  • Retain direct ownership of a specific product area by writing specifications, running discovery and making product decisions
  • Define and enforce product quality standards
  • Review team product decisions and outputs and challenge senior stakeholders when capabilities are not ready to ship
  • Maintain understanding of user needs across data engineering, analytics and platform personas
  • Own the competitive and market view of the data and AI ecosystem
  • Hire, coach and manage Product Managers
  • Run the team's operating rhythm and establish AI-enabled ways of working
  • Partner with Engineering and Design leadership on technical strategy and delivery capacity
  • Coordinate with GTM, Customer Success and Marketing on upcoming releases and product learning
  • Present roadmaps and trade-offs to stakeholders, leadership and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 10+ years in product management, including 3+ years managing Product Managers directly
  • Track record of shipping and scaling B2B products end to end, with demonstrable commercial impact
  • People leadership experience, including hiring, coaching and managing Product Managers' performance directly
  • Hands-on exposure to the data ecosystem sufficient to make credible technical trade-off calls
  • Systems thinking at scale, balancing craft, speed and commercial impact across multiple workstreams
  • Deep data literacy and evidence-based decision-making
  • Demonstrable track record of using AI tools to accelerate product work
  • Ability to model, teach and maintain AI-enabled product work standards
  • Excellent communication and credibility with executive leadership and senior customers
  • Comfortable maintaining product quality and team standards under commercial pressure
  • Ability to operate at strategic and hands-on levels
