About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support responses to RFPs, pitches, presentations, and other opportunities by developing written proposal and presentation materials
  • Liaise with client teams and industry groups when relevant
  • Support direct marketing and business development programs, including podcasts, video recordings, seminars, sponsorships, and other events
  • Create social media campaigns and report on ROI and engagement
  • Develop and maintain practice group marketing content, including descriptions, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, website/blog content, social media posts, and biographies
  • Develop and maintain league table and industry survey content and respond to ranking submissions
  • Conduct research, analysis, and competitive intelligence for strategic planning and business development
  • Identify speaking opportunities
  • Collect global transactions-practice matter data and manage the matter database
  • Track transactions-practice pipeline activity in the US
  • Review and consult with lawyers on profiles and practice descriptions
  • Provide ad hoc support and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Research, Communications or related field, required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, required
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize firm databases and outside vendor databases, required
  • Minimum of four years of demonstrated success in a marketing, research, management, and/or communications-related field, required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment and support demanding Firm needs
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with shifting priorities
  • Self-starter with a high level of initiative
  • Strong customer service skills and independent judgment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion
