About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate lateral partner candidate interviews with external recruiters, candidates, partners, and legal practice assistants
- Arrange interview times, book meeting rooms or virtual meetings, and manage scheduling from initial briefing through completion
- Manage complex interview logistics across time zones and resolve calendar conflicts
- Prepare and send interview confirmations, agendas, and supporting information
- Track interview stages and maintain accurate candidate pipeline records
- Collect and collate interview feedback and follow up with interviewers
- Support administration of candidate documentation, including interview packets, business plans, lateral partner questionnaires, and recruitment materials
- Liaise with Lateral Partner Integration, Risk Management, HR, Finance, and Business Development teams
- Act as a professional point of contact for candidates and recruiters
- Maintain and update candidate profiles in LawCruit and viDesktop
- Assist with offer and onboarding documentation and pre-onboarding/onboarding activities
- Prepare status updates, reports, and recruitment materials for internal stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends, lateral hiring moves, practices, and competitive market developments
- Log and process recruitment invoices
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA or BS degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruiting, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
- Prior legal recruiting experience with lateral partner recruiting is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, recruitment, or professional services support role
- Experience supporting interview scheduling, diary management, or recruitment coordination would be beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as LawCruit and viDesktop
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with shifting priorities
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion
