About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide proactive support and administration to the Graduate Recruitment & Development function
  • Act as a primary point of contact for staff, internal stakeholders, candidates, students, and external organisations
  • Support recruitment for solicitor apprenticeships, open days, work experience programmes, vacation schemes, and training contracts
  • Maintain the graduate recruitment inbox and respond to candidate telephone enquiries
  • Organise assessment centres, interviews, psychometric tests, offer paperwork, and interview scheduling
  • Organise university law fairs, campus events, attraction events, and relationships with target universities
  • Organise and facilitate work experience schemes and vacation scheme programmes
  • Support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and diversity partner events
  • Maintain future trainee records, organise tuition fee and maintenance grant payments, and coordinate social events
  • Maintain trainee records, absence logs, appraisals, personnel files, and HR system data
  • Support qualification, seat move, career development, exit interview, and secondment processes
  • Process invoices and candidate expenses, maintain recruitment procedures, produce activity metrics, and support graduate recruitment social media

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Strong administrative background gained within a fast moving and demanding professional services environment is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Precision and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative and provide proactive support to the team
  • Professional, reliable and very well organised
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including additional hours, evening work and travel during peak times
  • Excellent IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced verbal and written English language skills
