Provide support to Partners and Associates in Hong Kong
Review initial and subsequent drafts
Summarize changes and highlight changes relevant to the client
Handle documentation relating to closings and completion
Review and annotate document checklists
Independently progress skills and learning
Balance complex, high-stakes work and disruptive hours while delivering high-quality work product in a timely manner
Attend to and handle debt capital markets tasks during non-work hours and on weekends

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 5 years of paralegal experience in the Debt Capital Markets practice at a leading U.S. or magic circle legal firm
Fluent in oral and written English
Comfortable participating in conversations and written communications in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
Able to review drafts in Chinese
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects with different scopes efficiently, with high quality and in a timely manner
Ability to perform routine tasks independently
Ability to handle high-volume work and complex, high-stakes matters
Ability to work disruptive hours, non-work hours and weekends
Commitment to exceptional client service, professionalism, initiative, responsiveness and adaptability
