About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain metrics, analyses, dashboards, and related tools for business decisions
- Perform large-scale data analyses to extract business insights and identify strategies and optimizations
- Translate analytics into data stories, actionable solutions, and recommendations for cross-functional groups and agency partners
- Identify patterns and trends in complex data sets
- Establish data visualization best practices and provide guidance to the data science team
- Produce accessible data visualizations for multiple audiences and departments
- Compile and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly Shopping Journey insights focused on Retail Marketing programs and investment
- Collaborate with leadership to align goals, strategies, and progress
- Lead and execute cross-functional data analyses with Marketing/Retail Marketing Operations
- Partner with data engineers and IT on data sourcing, management, and use
- Create data resources to evaluate and manage business strategies
- Gather and define requirements for data science tools and models
- Evaluate and interpret data trends and provide conclusions and recommendations to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years experience developing and applying advanced statistical approaches required
- 3+ years experience utilizing data mining packages (e.g., Python, R, SAS, STATA, Excel) required
- 2+ years experience in marketing analytics required
- An equivalent mix of education, training, and/or work experience may be considered in place of a degree required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation building skills with an ability to collaborate
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills (PowerBI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of current automotive landscape, trends, and innovations
- Analytical and problem-solving ability, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Must be able to work remotely from one of the listed states
