About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare and submit sale auction bids to selling officers and sheriff departments
  • Manage administrative tasks related to foreclosure sales
  • Correspond with interested parties in a timely manner
  • Maintain paper and electronic files
  • Utilize and maintain client systems
  • Address incoming calls from various sources
  • Provide customer service to clients
  • Prepare foreclosure sale bids and related documents for sale auctions
  • Review account histories, loan documents, court pleadings, and related legal documents
  • Draft notices, motions, and orders
  • Prepare documents within firm, client/investor, and court timeframes with high accuracy
  • Update the firm’s internal case management system consistently and accurately
  • Provide regular and timely client status updates
  • Follow up on outstanding documents and services
  • Ensure there is no backlog
  • Support attorneys in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Work on projects as directed by a supervisor or manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years’ relevant legal work experience
  • 3-4 years’ administrative experience; preferably in the legal field
  • Overall good attitude and willingness to adapt to change
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong document preparation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Motivated self-starter able to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize issues
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work
  • Adaptable to frequent change
  • Team player willing to pitch in where needed

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and consistently meet deadlines
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems quickly
  • Experience with client systems such as BKFS, Clarifire, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
