About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage tasks associated with the foreclosure sale process
  • Prepare bids, sale publications, sale motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
  • Review client financials to calculate bids
  • Follow up with clients, court dockets, and publishers to ensure sales are properly held
  • Field calls from borrowers, clients, and other outside parties
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business associates and clients
  • Update the firm’s internal case management system and client systems accurately and consistently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to proficiently operate a computer, scanner, photocopier, and telephone
  • Familiarity with legal terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, internal employees, and outside parties
  • Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multitask and adapt to continual change
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency in internet research activities
  • Working knowledge of Connecticut civil procedure preferred
  • Knowledge and familiarity with chain of title
  • Experience with client systems such as LPS, Tempo, and Vendorscape preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, or paralegal certificate and/or 3–5 years’ equivalent work experience
  • 3–5 years’ administrative experience, preferably in the legal field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
  • No employment sponsorship or immigration support available
