About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage administrative tasks associated with state and federal civil litigation
  • Draft, prepare, proofread, and format memoranda, correspondence, legal notices, deeds, assignments, financial transactions, and other legal documents
  • Ensure timely delivery of outgoing mail, messenger and overnight deliveries, and document recordings/retrievals
  • Maintain a busy calendar and follow-ups
  • Field calls from borrowers, clients, and outside parties
  • Respond to high volumes of email correspondence
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business associates and clients
  • Provide customer service, client status updates, and follow-up on outstanding documents or services
  • Accurately update the firm’s internal case management system and client systems
  • Support attorneys in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree, and/or 1-3 years’ relevant administrative/legal work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with borrowers, clients, attorneys, internal employees, and outside parties
  • Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multitask and adapt to continual change
  • Ability to read and write at a high level for proofreading and editing
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Familiarity with case and document management software
  • Experience with systems such as LoanSphere and Tempo is preferred
  • Understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure, real property, and title is preferred
  • Experience reviewing title reports and identifying chain of title issues is preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
  • No employment sponsorship or immigration support available, including CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, TN, E-3, H-1B, and O-1
