About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Compile financial reports and analyze variances for actual performance vs. budget and prior year
- Budget and forecast expenditures, including operating and personnel costs, to determine financial resource requirements and anticipated variances
- Conduct monthly/bi-monthly review calls with budget owners to track progress vs budget and forecast updates
- Support the maintenance of the Firm’s financial software and reporting tools
- Develop and deliver automated and ad-hoc reports based on financial analysis reporting specifications
- Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve inquiries related to financial matters
- Assist in compiling the monthly operations report
- Perform ongoing audits of financial system data to ensure data accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standard operating procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- At least one (1) years of related work experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Familiarity with financial reporting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team
