About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports summarizing key performance indicators and profitability at the practice group, office, and attorney level
  • Support financial managers in designing and preparing the monthly financial reporting package
  • Participate in monthly review calls with senior management and address follow-ups
  • Configure specifications to extract data from the Firm’s financial reporting software
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve financial inquiries
  • Collaborate with analysts and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Audit financial system data for accuracy and compliance with reporting procedures
  • Assist with annual budgeting and analysis of lateral hires
  • Support maintenance of financial software and reporting tools
  • Assist with quarterly and annual bank surveys

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of finance, accounting or consulting experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Familiarity with financial reporting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
