About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide consultative financial partnership and real-time support to assigned McLeod operational groups
- Deliver financial analysis and strategic insights to executives and operational leaders
- Lead Finance Department initiatives and develop consistent, streamlined financial tools and analysis
- Advise senior leadership on business growth, cost optimization, and long-term planning
- Assist with annual operational and capital budgeting processes
- Lead and participate in monthly financial reviews and develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate on complex business plans and business cases
- Conduct forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling
- Serve as primary financial contact for assigned client groups and maintain trusted advisor relationships
- Define complex problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and recommend solutions
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members
- Perform other duties supporting McLeod’s mission, assigned operational groups, and Finance team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related areas
- Six years of experience in Finance, Healthcare, Analytics, or related position
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other analysis tools
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related area preferred
- Experience within a health system, physician practice, ambulatory, or hospital setting preferred
- CPA, CFA, or HFMA certifications preferred
