About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily priorities for the firm's footprint states
- Support and manage foreclosure title processes, including foreclosure timeline awareness, policy adherence, and compliance with state, federal, and client guidelines
- Assist with establishing and implementing department policies, procedures, and reporting
- Monitor workflow to ensure productivity and customer service standards are met
- Support the title team in meeting department standards and client objectives
- Lead department staff and team leads to ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
- Provide backup support for title review, curative, and ancillary title functions
- Redevelop and implement training guides and programs
- Monitor client guidelines and requirements to avoid compensatory fees or penalties
- Analyze reports, trends, inefficiencies, daily performance logs, and CaseAware sequences
- Provide exception reporting and participate in monthly departmental meetings
- Create, modify, deploy, and apply Work Instructions; coach team members as needed
- Review and rebut client scorecards
- Meet contractual timelines through monthly audits of client referrals
- Onboard and oversee new team member training
- Handle escalated matters and identify preventative improvements
- Administer and monitor Performance Improvement Plans
- Review and approve staff payroll and PTO requests
- Complete annual assessments for direct reports
- Participate in testing title department document templates for accurate data capture
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5+ years of related experience preferred in default operations/creditors’ rights
- Working knowledge/familiarity with the foreclosure process from start to finish preferred
- Prior experience in a law firm setting preferred
- Experience and working knowledge of Black Knight, Tempo, and Case Aware
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, Teams, and SharePoint
- Proficiency in time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume environment
- Ability to communicate professionally and provide exceptional customer service to clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Successful completion of a background check and required pre-employment standards
- Ability to provide two professional references
- Confirmation of eligibility to work in the United States
- Notary status or willingness to become a notary preferred
