About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the first point of customer contact for new and existing clients and families, referrer enquiries, general phone enquiries, and service enquiries
- Receive, document, and escalate concerns raised by clients, referrers, providers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain up-to-date referrer, client, and provider databases
- Deal promptly with queries
- Process referrals from Local Health Networks, hospitals, General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, and Residential Aged Care Facilities
- Update relevant systems and provide responses within expected timeframes and KPIs
- Perform other administrative duties relating to client service delivery or the Virtual Care Centre as requested
- Work closely with clinical teams, service providers, clients, and families to address client care and service requirements/issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous administration and customer service experience, preferably within a health care environment
- Proficient IT skills across MS Office suite
- Ability to use a range of databases
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and highly organised
- Proactive problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance, or be willing and eligible to obtain them
- Willingness and ability to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations if successful
- Ability to work rostered shifts of 7am–3pm, 10am–6pm, and 2pm–10pm across a 7-day roster
