About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide quality service for valued customers
  • Service end-to-end solutions for overseas customers
  • Identify and highlight opportunities to improve member and billing agent experiences
  • Deliver occasional presentations to stakeholders and customers
  • Assist customers face-to-face, over the phone through inbound and outbound calls, via email, and through messaging
  • Support overseas students with their health insurance needs as part of a premium service centre

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Part-time availability of 22.5 hours per week across 3 days, Monday to Friday
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster between 8am and 8pm AWST
  • Ability to work at Edith Cowan University in Joondalup
  • Sales experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of the health, finance, or insurance industry within Australia is desirable
  • Strong communication skills across face-to-face, telephone, email, and messaging channels
  • Ability to provide compassionate, friendly, and exceptional customer service
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and identify business opportunities
  • Problem-solving ability and capacity to tailor responses to different situations and people
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Team-oriented approach and ability to support colleagues
  • Must have or obtain a Volunteer Working with Children Check if successful
