About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically manage client relationships focused on implementing, overseeing, and optimizing clinical programs and PBM services
  • Build and nurture long-term healthcare client relationships
  • Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review clinical program performance and outcomes
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to clients
  • Lead implementation of clinical programs tailored to client needs
  • Ensure integration of clinical services with client operations
  • Monitor and report on clinical intervention effectiveness
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement clinical strategies and programs
  • Advise on clinical trends, formulary management, and drug utilization
  • Work with internal stakeholders to customize client solutions
  • Keep clients informed about industry trends and innovations
  • Analyze clinical data to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas
  • Prepare and present reports on clinical performance and cost savings
  • Use data to help clients achieve healthcare objectives and financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Collaborate with operational, sales, and account management teams
  • Support marketing materials and proposals for new client opportunities
  • Facilitate communication between clinical and non-clinical teams
  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients
  • Work on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or another company location, or remotely with management approval based on business requirements
  • Travel domestically up to 25% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PharmD and 3+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 year of SME in respective areas
  • Candidate must have Medicare Part D experience
  • Current, active, and valid registered Pharmacist License, without restrictions, in any state
  • May require licensure in a specific state, as required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Excel and relational databases
  • Familiarity with SalesForce
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of PBM operations, drug formulary systems, and healthcare regulations
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required
  • Domestic travel of up to 25% of the time
