About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute Medisolv's platform engineering strategy, roadmap, and operating model
Lead and develop the Platform Engineering team responsible for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, developer tooling, and operational excellence
Advise senior leadership on platform, infrastructure, and operational strategy
Own the reliability, scalability, security, and performance of Medisolv's Azure-based platform
Oversee Azure networking, cloud governance, security, and compliance initiatives
Lead monitoring, observability, incident response, capacity planning, and operational readiness programs
Drive standardization, automation, and Infrastructure as Code practices across engineering teams
Establish and mature CI/CD, GitOps, Platform Engineering, and SRE practices
Support and optimize enterprise data platforms, including Databricks and Spark-based workloads
Partner with Engineering, Security, Data Engineering, and Product leaders
Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives
Establish platform and reliability metrics, operational KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs
Coach and grow the Platform Engineering team, tackle technical debt, drive platform innovation, and participate in architecture reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including leading managers and technical teams
Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures
Strong experience building and operating Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platforms
Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong experience with Azure networking, cloud security, and governance
Strong operational experience with monitoring, observability, incident management, and platform reliability
Experience leading cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders
Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools
Experience supporting Databricks environments and Spark-based workloads
Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or another regulated industry
Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
