About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across LATAM and Canada, supporting searches in Europe as needed
  • Source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and close hires
  • Develop and implement country-specific creative sourcing strategies
  • Identify and engage high-quality passive candidates through social media, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other channels
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines using market intelligence and talent trend analysis
  • Partner with business leaders, HR, and senior leadership to understand priorities and fulfill talent needs
  • Guide and support hiring managers and interviewers to conduct efficient, effective, and fair recruitment processes
  • Serve as the global subject matter expert for a key Talent Acquisition pillar
  • Drive best practices, develop scalable solutions, and enhance recruitment effectiveness across the global Talent Acquisition team
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely feedback
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
  • Cultivate an inclusive environment supporting diversity initiatives and equal opportunity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in regional (LATAM) or global talent acquisition
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition load in a fast-paced and agile company across multiple time zones
  • Expert-level sourcing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex searches simultaneously through various channels
  • Experience partnering with and advising senior leaders up to the VP level
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Builder mindset with the ability to identify gaps, create structure, and develop scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries preferred
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese preferred
  • Experience leveraging technology and data analytics to monitor and evaluate recruitment metrics, extract actionable insights, and optimize recruitment strategies and sources of hire preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
