About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute business development and market development plans
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned markets and accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital leaders, health systems, distributors, and other stakeholders
  • Assess customer needs and recommend solutions maximizing product and service value
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive analysis
  • Develop account and opportunity strategies, including stakeholder mapping, value propositions, and action plans
  • Partner with sales, marketing, clinical, medical education, finance, contracting, and other cross-functional teams
  • Communicate customer insights, competitive intelligence, and product feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Support product launches, customer education, demonstrations, workshops, and strategic initiatives
  • Track opportunity pipelines, activity, and outcomes; provide updates and recommendations to leadership
  • Promote compliance with company policies, quality systems, regulations, and ethical business practices
  • Travel as needed to support customers, field teams, meetings, and business priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of relevant sales, clinical, or related experience; or Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, life sciences, business development, or complex solution selling
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and influence decisions across complex customer environments
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment
