About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex customer inquiries, operational processes, and escalations.
  • Process customer orders, quotations, orders, and follow-up activities while ensuring the highest levels of quality and process reliability.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer and operational issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, simplify workflows, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support projects, system implementations, corporate initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and quality requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support knowledge transfer, onboarding, and training activities within the Customer Care team.
  • Work in a hybrid model combining office-based and mobile work; occasional travel may be required for business meetings, training, or organizational initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed secondary education with at least 4 years of professional experience; or an associate degree/vocational qualification with at least 2 years of professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of professional experience in customer service, Customer Operations, Service Support, or a comparable environment.
  • Business-fluent German and professional-level written and spoken English.
  • Experience handling complex customer situations, escalations, or cross-functional operational processes.
  • Experience analyzing operational data and deriving improvement measures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience supporting customers in healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience using ERP or CRM systems such as SAP or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages, such as Italian or French.
