About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage district sales representative staff and achieve the sales plan within budget
  • Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate, and retain district distribution personnel
  • Provide sales strategy and planning input to the Regional Business Director
  • Develop fiscal and quarterly sales goals and objectives for each territory
  • Implement district sales training and sales support training strategies
  • Coach, provide feedback to, and direct Therapy Consultants on sales calls and presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key account personnel to support sales, service, and clinical programs
  • Conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews of field personnel
  • Ensure new staff receive appropriate orientation and training
  • Maintain sales data and territory records to understand market trends and communicate competitive data
  • Explain business and marketing policies and programs to Therapy Consultants
  • Control and monitor district selling expenses
  • Provide input on sales strategies, promotions, staffing needs, new product indications, and product acceptance
  • Follow applicable quality policies and work procedures to ensure quality-system compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience; or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
  • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing business plans, and utilizing business consulting skills
  • Experience fostering and creating a high-performance culture
  • Experience engaging in the creation of an inclusive environment and promotion of a diverse workforce
  • Experience recognizing, attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent
  • Experience leading, communicating, and delivering results at or above expectations
  • Knowledge of forecasting and developing and implementing district business plans
  • Experience leveraging internal and external customer relationships
  • Experience working with economic buyers and managed care
  • Experience motivating and serving as a role model for sales representatives
  • Experience developing and sustaining a team environment and sales strategies
  • Marketing program and market implementation and/or development experience
