About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accelerate adoption and sustained utilization of Medtronic’s AI-powered GI Genius platform
  • Partner with enterprise health systems, MSOs, IDNs, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices
  • Drive technology integration, clinical adoption, and long-term value realization
  • Lead enterprise customer-level sales and market development efforts
  • Expand installed base utilization and transfer best practices to the broader commercial organization
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, executive-level negotiations, and enterprise contracting
  • Serve as a commercial expert in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
  • Maintain expertise in healthcare AI trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic forces shaping AI adoption
  • Position GI Genius as the market-leading AI platform through clinical, operational, and economic value narratives
  • Develop and execute territory-level growth strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing, health economics, clinical, operations, and executive leadership
  • Transfer product, selling, and adoption best practices to the broader sales force
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with health system leaders, physicians, administrators, and key opinion leaders
  • Deliver customer-specific workflow, economic, and clinical strategies
  • Demonstrate mastery of GI Genius clinical evidence, disease pathways, algorithm development principles, and real-world performance data
  • Deliver clinical product demonstrations, physician education, and on-site adoption support
  • Serve as a clinical and technical resource throughout evaluation, implementation, and post-install optimization
  • Maintain CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity visibility
  • Complete reporting, expense management, and training compliance
  • Adhere to Medtronic policies, compliance standards, and Code of Conduct
  • Drive to multiple accounts throughout the multi-state territory covering North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and eastern Tennessee

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years OR Associate's Degree and 8+ years OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Must be based within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC
  • 6+ years of relevant experience at minimum under the bachelor's-degree pathway
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
  • Valid driver's license
  • Significant travel required, up to 75%
  • Enterprise-level solution selling experience in healthcare technology, software (SaaS), or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and recognition as a top performer
  • Experience leading multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales within IDNs, MSOs, hospitals, or ASC networks
  • Strong clinical and business acumen
  • Experience selling into procedural or physician-driven clinical environments
  • Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft O365
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
