About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support for Cranial and Spinal Technologies Imaging and Surgical Robotics systems
  • Perform installation, inspection, verification, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and de-installation for O-arm, imaging, AiBLE, and Mazor systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues
  • Restore equipment performance and minimize customer downtime
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
  • Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled service activities with customers and internal partners
  • Analyze field service data to identify trends, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide technical feedback to Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams
  • Support development and continuous improvement of service procedures, documentation, and field service processes
  • Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to distributors, partners, agents, and qualified customer representatives
  • Support customers throughout the San Antonio, Texas area and regional business needs
  • Serve as the primary technical representative at customer sites throughout the equipment lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer support, mechanical equipment repair, electrical equipment repair, or field service support
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% within and outside the assigned territory
  • Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, or servicing technical equipment in customer-facing environments
  • Ability to maintain service documentation and technical records in accordance with established procedures and requirements
  • Must reside within the San Antonio, Texas territory
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
  • Preferred: experience servicing medical devices, imaging equipment, or complex electronic systems
  • Preferred: ability to troubleshoot and diagnose medical equipment or large capital equipment platforms
  • Preferred: experience delivering technical training or instruction
  • Preferred: strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Preferred: experience working independently in a field-based service environment and managing multiple customer priorities
  • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
