About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the CNC Machining Center of Excellence strategy, capability development, and technology roadmap execution
  • Define enterprise manufacturing strategies for CNC machining and finishing technologies
  • Establish standards for equipment, tooling, materials, automation, process controls, and quality systems
  • Partner with Research and Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operating Units to align technology investments with business needs
  • Drive process optimization, yield improvement, defect reduction, and equipment enhancement initiatives across manufacturing sites
  • Evaluate emerging machining, finishing, and inspection technologies with suppliers, industry partners, and academic institutions
  • Lead feasibility studies, proof-of-concept activities, and industrialization efforts for new manufacturing technologies
  • Ensure manufacturing technologies and processes support regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and scalable production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or advanced manufacturing experience OR advanced degree with 8+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or advanced manufacturing experience
  • Experience with CNC machining technologies in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience developing and deploying manufacturing processes, equipment, or production technologies
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • This position requires onsite work 4 days per week and up to 20% travel
  • Roles below the Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
