About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead IT strategy, due diligence, risk assessment, and execution across multiple concurrent acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, carveouts, and divestitures
- Develop and execute IT integration or separation strategies aligned to transaction objectives, business priorities, risk profile, and value creation goals
- Drive sign-to-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close stabilization, and value realization
- Guide business and technology strategy and executive decision-making across applications, data, commercial, ERP, manufacturing, quality, operations and supply chain, R&D, infrastructure, and cybersecurity domains
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Corporate Development, business leaders, and senior IT executives
- Identify risks, drive accountability, resolve business and technology decisions, and influence transaction outcomes
- Lead executive governance, steering committees, global matrixed teams, and strategic partners
- Build and continuously improve the IT M&A execution system, including playbooks, governance, deal data models, operating models, and execution tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- 7+ years of managerial experience
- Experience leading technology due diligence, integration, or separation activities for acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, carveouts, or divestitures
- Experience leading global, cross-functional teams and influencing decisions with Corporate Development, business leaders, corporate functions, and senior IT executives
- Experience evaluating and transforming business processes, operating models, and technology capabilities to support transaction objectives, business outcomes, and value creation goals
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment for roles below Principal level
