About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate logistics, contracts, payment processing, budgeting, and vendor management for medical affairs meetings and events
  • Support planning and execution of healthcare professional education programs, advisory boards, and scientific engagements
  • Contribute to development and implementation of medical affairs plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical evidence, scientific literature, and products within the U.S. Surgical portfolio
  • Gather and communicate competitive intelligence, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to internal partners
  • Collaborate with Clinical Research, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to support evidence-based decision making
  • Ensure meeting activities, documentation, and engagements comply with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables while providing status updates to stakeholders
  • Travel up to 10% to support meetings, events, and business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical, scientific, healthcare, meeting planning, project coordination, or related business support roles OR Advanced degree with 0 years of experience
  • Experience coordinating projects, meetings, events, or cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, vendors, invoices, or payment processes
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
