About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support execution of medical affairs strategies, educational programs, and market development activities for the U.S. Surgical organization
- Coordinate logistics, contracts, payment processing, budgeting, and vendor management for medical affairs meetings and events
- Support planning and execution of healthcare professional education programs, advisory boards, and scientific engagements
- Contribute to development and implementation of medical affairs plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical evidence, scientific literature, and products within the U.S. Surgical portfolio
- Gather and communicate competitive intelligence, market insights, and stakeholder feedback to internal partners
- Collaborate with Clinical Research, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams
- Ensure meeting activities, documentation, and engagements comply with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations
- Track project milestones, budgets, and deliverables while providing status updates to stakeholders
- Travel up to 10% to support meetings, events, and business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical, scientific, healthcare, meeting planning, project coordination, or related business support roles OR Advanced degree with 0 years of experience
- Experience coordinating projects, meetings, events, or cross-functional initiatives
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, vendors, invoices, or payment processes
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Preferred: Experience supporting Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Medical Education, or Scientific Affairs functions
- Preferred: Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, healthcare professional engagements, and industry regulations
- Preferred: Experience coordinating advisory boards, investigator meetings, educational programs, or scientific events
- Preferred: Experience reviewing and summarizing scientific literature, clinical evidence, or competitive intelligence
- Preferred: Project management experience supporting multiple concurrent programs and stakeholders
