About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote and sell capital and consumable products addressing respiratory surgical complications to operating room and hospital C-suite customers
- Drive revenue-generating sales to key hospital personnel and end customers
- Forecast business and provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual projections to the Regional Business Manager
- Lead territory opportunity development and sales activities
- Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute sales strategies
- Maintain existing business and close competitive and revenue-growth opportunities
- Develop and close product sales inquiries and leads within the assigned territory
- Collaborate with the regionally aligned field sales team to drive incremental revenue and achieve sales goals
- Develop, negotiate, close, and manage profitable agreements
- Use and update sales tools to analyze trends, create call strategies, and manage territory and strategic business plans
- Deliver strategic messaging at trade shows, presentations, and board meetings
- Provide product feature, benefit, application, value messaging, and clinical support
- Coordinate clinical evaluations and pre-sales support
- Conduct post-sales implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support
- Build and maintain customer relationships and understand customer initiatives
- Maintain detailed knowledge of related products, applications, programs, and value-added offerings
- Use Specialist and Clinical resources efficiently to optimize the sales process
- Inform the Regional Business Manager and local area team of new account opportunities
- Complete assigned projects and administrative duties in a timely manner
- Maintain Vendor Credentialing requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years experience, or Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years experience, or Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Reside within the assigned territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
- Valid driver's license
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- Preferred: 4+ years of Medical Device Operating Room sales experience with experience managing an individual quota
- Preferred: Experience selling to the acute care hospital operating room environment
- Ability to quickly compile contracts with supporting financial business cases
- Proven ability to succeed in complex sales and clinical environments
- Strong computer expertise and business application skills
- Thorough understanding of the sales process
- Understanding of the medical sales arena
- Strong verbal and written communication and exceptional client interaction skills
- For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Consistently maintain all Vendor Credentialing requirements
