About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a member of the Global Operations and Supply Chain FP&A team
  • Understand and explain Gross Margin drivers for Medical Surgical Portfolio Operating Units
  • Develop a deep understanding of product costs and key cost drivers
  • Gather historical information and summarize data to highlight gross margin trends
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across GOSC and Medical Surgical Portfolio teams
  • Lead OU presentations on GOSC impact on Gross Margin analysis
  • Provide financial performance commentary to various levels of management
  • Support AOP and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy by OU
  • Ensure allocations and targets are clearly understood and consistently applied
  • Increase visibility to cost drivers within cost pools and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead cost roll reconciliation for specific OUs
  • Summarize cost-change impacts and review them with cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Proven experience leveraging SAP, BPCS, Hyperion Spend, CMR, or similar enterprise systems
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to influence outcomes through data-driven recommendations
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • MBA, CPA, and/or CMA certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of Project Accounting and financial controls preferred
  • Experience partnering with operations teams within a manufacturing environment preferred
  • U.S. work authorization sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles and above; other roles require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment
