About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create value across the entire portfolio of approximately $250M of IT Services spend
- Build strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Support sourcing strategies that create sustainable competitive advantage
- Manage preferred suppliers, including spend reporting and tracking, performance monitoring, and purchase-process facilitation
- Support IT purchasing, supplier relationship management, and strategic supplier programs with IT Services partners in collaboration with the IT Vendor Management Office
- Achieve year-on-year value improvement targets for service, innovation, and cost
- Lead and support RF(x) events to drive competition and maximize value
- Lead and support strategic contract negotiations for large-scale engagements
- Engage and influence stakeholders to adopt category strategies in a highly matrixed organization
- Partner with IT, Legal, and other key stakeholder groups
- Recommend business solutions and identify improvement opportunities; present ideas to leadership
- Advise stakeholders on contract risk and liabilities and advocate for their interests
- Gather market intelligence and industry trends; use benchmarking to justify and rationalize deal terms
- Educate and train stakeholders on indirect supply management initiatives and policies
- Collaborate with experienced and motivated colleagues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Management, Procurement, Category Management, Finance, IT / Shared Services or related analytical and commercial functions
- Ability to partner with and influence senior leadership
- Demonstrated leadership, customer service, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, judgment, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong program management skills
- Experience influencing and leading internal teams and external suppliers to deliver results
- Ability to prioritize and juggle many high-visibility projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders
- Indirect sourcing experience, including IT Services, Professional Services, Financial Services, or Legal Services
- Experience working in a large global organization
- Experience reviewing and drafting legal agreements
