About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute a territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue, unit, and market share objectives
- Develop relationships with cardiac surgeons, clinical staff, and key decision-makers
- Expand utilization of Cardiac Surgery therapies
- Identify, prioritize, and close new business opportunities within existing and competitive accounts
- Deliver product education, procedural support, and clinical expertise
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and account plans
- Analyze customer, market, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategy
- Partner with marketing, operations, research and development, and other internal stakeholders
- Manage territory assets, inventory, expenses, and administrative reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years, OR associate’s degree and 6+ years, OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Must reside within the assigned territory
- Ability to travel to multiple customer accounts throughout the region up to 80% of the time
- Ability to work and/or travel outside normal business hours, including evening and weekend on-call support
- Valid driver's license and active insurance required
- Driving record must meet company standards
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
- Must meet physical demands including frequent travel, transporting product and equipment, prolonged standing or walking, and working in clinical environments with exposure to radiation and infectious diseases
- Roles below Principal level require unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
