About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Promote and sell Medtronic’s Cardiac Surgery portfolio across assigned accounts
  • Execute a territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue, unit, and market share objectives
  • Develop relationships with cardiac surgeons, clinical staff, and key decision-makers
  • Expand utilization of Cardiac Surgery therapies
  • Identify, prioritize, and close new business opportunities within existing and competitive accounts
  • Deliver product education, procedural support, and clinical expertise
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and account plans
  • Analyze customer, market, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, research and development, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage territory assets, inventory, expenses, and administrative reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant experience, OR associate’s degree and 6+ years, OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years
  • Relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Candidates must reside within the assigned territory
  • Ability to travel to multiple customer accounts throughout the region up to 80% of the time
  • Ability to work and/or travel outside normal business hours, including evening and weekend on-call support
  • Valid driver's license and active insurance required
  • Driving record must meet company standards
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
  • Ability to meet physical demands including frequent travel, transporting product and equipment, prolonged standing or walking, and working in clinical environments with exposure to radiation and infectious diseases
