About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the strategic technology leader for Medtronic’s global supply chain
  • Partner with Global Supply Chain executives to align technology strategy, roadmaps, and investments with business priorities
  • Shape and execute technology strategy across planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment
  • Translate business priorities into a multi-year digital roadmap
  • Lead a global team delivering secure, scalable, and modern technology solutions
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation using digital technologies, automation, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics
  • Improve forecasting, inventory optimization, operational efficiency, decision-making, resilience, and end-to-end supply chain performance
  • Own delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of critical supply chain applications and platforms
  • Ensure reliability, security, scalability, service quality, enterprise architecture alignment, and cybersecurity compliance
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry practices
  • Maintain portfolio governance, risk management, vendor strategy, business case development, and technology investment accountability
  • Build and develop a high-performing global team and foster collaboration, innovation, accountability, and product-focused execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or 13+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing global teams and complex technology portfolios
  • 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain IT
  • Experience in planning, integrated business planning, logistics, transportation, warehousing, and global distribution
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment, unless eligible for sponsorship under the stated policy
  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives and develop technology strategies
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, cloud modernization, platform transformation, AI adoption, Industry 4.0 capabilities, intelligent automation, and digital product operating models
  • Deep knowledge of ERP, planning, transportation, warehouse management, integration platforms, connected operations, smart logistics, and warehouse automation
  • Expertise in data, analytics, AI/ML, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs involving adoption, financial performance, vendor management, cybersecurity, compliance, enterprise architecture, governance, and risk management
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships, lead organizational change, and influence across business and technology functions
  • Commitment to developing top talent and creating inclusive, high-performing teams
