About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead facilities operations, maintenance, and infrastructure management across manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and office facilities
  • Develop and execute maintenance strategies for facility equipment, utilities, building systems, and site services
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure investments
  • Coordinate planned maintenance, repairs, shutdown activities, and projects to minimize operational disruption
  • Evaluate facility performance, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with quality, environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Use building automation and computerized maintenance management systems to monitor performance and analyze metrics
  • Lead, develop, and evaluate facilities personnel
  • Manage vendor, contractor, and service provider performance
  • Support Medtronic’s Orange County site cluster across approximately 335,000 square feet and multiple facilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of facilities or maintenance experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years of facilities or maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • Experience managing facilities operations within manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, or mixed-use environments
  • Experience coordinating maintenance programs, infrastructure projects, and vendor services across multiple facilities
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
