About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales growth for Medtronic's Respiratory Interventions airway portfolio through virtual customer engagement
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new business through outbound calling, lead generation, and targeted sales campaigns
- Drive territory sales performance and achieve or exceed assigned sales objectives
- Analyze customer, territory, and sales performance data to prioritize opportunities and develop account plans
- Manage customer accounts, maintain regular contact, increase product utilization, and identify growth opportunities
- Educate customers on product features, clinical applications, and value propositions
- Collaborate with field sales representatives and cross-functional partners
- Negotiate and close sales opportunities while addressing customer questions and barriers to adoption
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights
- Identify, develop, and close leads and refer internal leads when appropriate
- Provide input on new markets, product introductions, and existing products or supplies
- Promote and establish education of company products and services
- Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems
- Arrange product demonstrations by field sales representatives
- Assist field sales representatives with sales planning, sales activities, data analysis, customer opportunities, and follow-up
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8+ years of relevant sales, customer support, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; OR Associate's Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing competing priorities and customer needs
- Candidates may reside anywhere within the United States
- Ability to consistently work an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time schedule
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Preferred: experience in inside sales, virtual sales, remote sales, business development, or quota-carrying sales
- Preferred: prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, or other outbound sales experience
- Preferred: CRM systems and sales performance data
- Preferred: medical device, healthcare, respiratory care, or acute care hospital sales experience
- Preferred: analytics, sales reporting, and market data experience
- Preferred: experience partnering with field sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Preferred: clinical background, healthcare certification, or acute care product experience
