About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive patient referrals and therapy awareness in targeted geographies
- Develop relationships with high-prescribing hypertension physicians and community stakeholders
- Open new accounts in partnership with existing sales teams
- Promote and educate customers about the Symplicity therapy as a therapy specialist and resource
- Execute focused outreach strategies in high-potential markets
- Collaborate with senior territory managers to ensure consistent messaging and territory alignment
- Serve as a consistent touchpoint for physicians and staff
- Educate and equip providers with therapy benefits and patient-care pathways
- Support contract signing and onboarding for new accounts
- Participate in comprehensive clinical and sales training programs
- Operate flexibly in a dynamic, evolving environment with a project mentality
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, outreach efforts, and territory performance
- Adhere to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards
- Drive to multiple accounts throughout North Dakota and South Dakota
- Support launch and expansion of the Symplicity Spyral Renal Denervation System and therapy adoption in high-potential markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Reside within the North Dakota/South Dakota territory
- Frequent travel within the assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 12+ years relevant experience, OR Associate’s Degree AND 10+ years relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years relevant experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
- Sit/stand/walk for 6–8 hours per day
- Ability to operate a moving vehicle
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment, unless eligible for applicable sponsorship
- For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Preferred: 8+ years sales with 4+ years in Cath Lab Sales, Medical Capital Equipment, Surgical Sales, or hospital pharmaceutical sales
- Preferred: Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel
- Preferred: Demonstrated success in sales hunting, new-account development, and market penetration for innovative technologies
- Preferred: Top 10% past performance or Presidents Club winner
