About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive adoption of new therapies and grow sales and market share for the assigned territory
- Train, educate, sell, and provide in-servicing on new Vascular products
- Develop new accounts and drive adoption of carotid and other new products and therapies
- Manage territory organization, planning, administration, expenses, and compliance
- Train medical staff on new products and procedures
- Meet sales, account development, and management expectations
- Drive new account activation and adoption of Vascular technologies
- Launch new accounts with the Vascular Field Team
- Develop and execute ongoing sales and market development plans
- Identify, evaluate, and convert target accounts
- Manage expenses and adhere to financial, regulatory, quality, and company policies
- Lead account-level targeting, engagement, and VAC process understanding
- Identify, train, and support physician champions through Local, IDN, and GPO VAC processes
- Follow approved pricing and GPO/IDN contracting strategies
- Build relationships with decision makers, customers, administrators, and Key Opinion Leaders
- Share market trends, insights, and best practices with the Vascular Field organization
- Understand customer needs, overcome objections, gain commitments, and close business
- Plan and deliver sales and product presentations
- Educate customers on new products and features
- Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints
- Plan cases with physicians, manage expectations, and improve outcomes
- Conduct clinical conversations about therapy and product advantages
- Conduct business according to ethics, compliance, and FDA requirements
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, finance, and other internal functions
- Communicate market intelligence, competitor activity, leads, pricing, and account information to sales management
- Update launch dashboards weekly, including Tableau, Salesforce, and Opportunity Funnel
- Develop and maintain technical and clinical product knowledge
- Understand competitive products and their strengths
- Participate in product and skills development programs
- Maintain knowledge of the reimbursement landscape
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 12+ years’ relevant experience, OR Associate’s Degree AND 10+ years’ relevant experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years’ relevant experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Ability to travel at least 60%
- Previous sales rep experience with Neuroguard and strong vascular device knowledge
- 8+ years of experience selling medical devices/therapies in hospital/OR settings or medical capital equipment, with a proven track record in new product launches
- Demonstrated success in sales hunting and developing new accounts, driving market penetration for innovative technologies
- Deep knowledge of operating room, hospital, and physician office protocols and conduct
- Ability to teach, train, and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support teams on new devices and therapies
- Consistent top-tier performance (Top 10%), including recognition such as President’s Club or equivalent awards
- Demonstrated ability to proactively seek and secure new business opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Business preferred
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required at hire and throughout employment for roles below Principal level
