About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow sales and market share for an assigned territory by promoting, selling and servicing Vascular products
- Develop new accounts and drive adoption of DCB, Atherectomy and the full peripheral vascular product portfolio for PAD
- Manage territory organization, planning, administration, expenses and compliance
- Train medical staff on products and procedures
- Achieve assigned performance objectives and business goals
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for revenue, market share and account development
- Identify opportunities across existing and prospective accounts and expand customer partnerships
- Build relationships with physicians, administrators and healthcare stakeholders through consultative selling, presentations and clinical discussions
- Influence and close opportunities through value-based selling, contract optimization and objection handling
- Generate leads, uncover new business, represent Medtronic at industry conferences and customer events, and differentiate solutions from competitors
- Plan procedures with physicians and care teams, manage case expectations, provide clinical support and optimize patient outcomes
- Manage account coverage, market intelligence, expenses and financial, regulatory, quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain expertise in products, reimbursement, clinical applications and industry trends
- Work extended periods sitting, standing and walking, up to 8 hours per day
- Operate safely in clinical environments involving personal protective equipment and possible exposure to infectious diseases or radiation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 12+ years OR associate's degree and 10+ years OR Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related roles within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- 8+ years B2B or Healthcare Sales with 6 years’ experience selling medical device or medical capital equipment
- Knowledge and experience in operating room, hospital and physician office protocol/conduct
- Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers and technical support personnel
- Valid driver's license, active auto insurance, and a driving record that meets company standards
- Candidates must reside within the assigned territory
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
- Degree in biological science or business preferred
- Top 10% past performance; President’s Club winner
