About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Head of Sales, Asia
- Drive revenue through recruitment, activation, and engagement of new and existing MSP, SI, and DCO partners
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through strategic partnerships, market expansion, and executive engagement across Asia
- Develop and execute channel initiatives by identifying high-potential partners
- Accelerate partner onboarding and guide partners through the lifecycle from initial engagement to activation and long-term revenue generation
- Define and execute the end-to-end Asia Channel go-to-market strategy with APAC leadership
- Establish partnership frameworks, revenue-sharing models, and commercial and strategic alignment with Tier-1 partners
- Design and deliver partner enablement programs
- Identify channel segments, partnership models, and market-entry opportunities within ANZ
- Design channel enablement frameworks and partner governance structures
- Partner with local Hybrid Sales Pods to recruit and develop partners
- Optimise and scale the solution sales process
- Establish executive sponsorship and negotiate strategic joint go-to-market agreements
- Oversee ANZ Channel performance, partner sales volume, revenue, governance, and ecosystem prioritisation
- Execute targeted channel campaigns and promote Megaport products and solutions
- Represent ANZ channel interests in global channel leadership forums
- Represent Megaport at key partner events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Based in Hong Kong, Singapore or Japan, or willing to travel frequently across the region
- 8+ years of senior sales leadership experience working with MSPs and SIs
- Background in telecommunications, networking, cloud, or IT services sales within the Channel
- Experience contributing to channel GTM strategy development and building and leading a team to execute that strategy
- Demonstrated success recruiting, enabling, and scaling partner ecosystems
- Experience with SIs is an advantage
- Deep understanding of the channel landscape in Australia and New Zealand
- Established relationships with leadership in key partner organisations
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment across business units, partners, and solution teams
- Demonstrated history of revenue expansion and exceeding commercial targets and strategic KPIs
- Proven record managing complex, high-value channel relationships, regional revenue and risk forecasting, and operating independently within global reporting structures
- Entrepreneurial, flexible, and adaptable
- Comfortable operating independently in a globally distributed organisation
- Willingness and capability to travel across the ANZ region; up to 50% of working time may be spent travelling
