About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with US sales and operations teams to provide financial insights and strategic decision-making support
  • Advise on deal structures, pricing, discounts, products, and deal structure requests
  • Evaluate partnerships and business expansion opportunities through data-driven business cases and recommendations
  • Support the design, analysis, and management of commission structures and accurate payment execution
  • Prepare financial reports, performance reporting, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Develop dashboards and enhanced KPI metrics
  • Act as the on-the-ground finance contact for the US team and coordinate with the Australian team
  • Bridge time zone and geographical gaps with the Australian finance team and share insights and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial finance or financial planning & analysis (FP&A) role, ideally within a global organization
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Salesforce
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, capable of working independently while staying connected to a remote team
  • Experience working with sales organizations highly regarded
