About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), ergonomic evaluations, and safety audits
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections
  • Monitor and analyze workplace safety metrics
  • Recommend improvement strategies
  • Promote continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance
  • Support sustainable environmental practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and training skills in English and Spanish
