About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform intermediate to advanced laboratory testing related to pharmaceutical filtration and analytical evaluation
  • Execute filterability, compatibility, characterization, and integrity studies
  • Conduct TOC analysis, FT-IR film lot release, and Keyence digital microscope analysis
  • Analyze data and assist with preparation of detailed reports
  • Perform preliminary data review and flag inconsistencies for senior staff
  • Contribute to development, revision, and maintenance of SOPs
  • Manage inventory and initiate purchase requests for lab supplies
  • Maintain and review laboratory documentation for accuracy and SOP compliance
  • Operate and troubleshoot standard laboratory equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Perform daily housekeeping and basic hazardous waste handling
  • Train and provide technical support to Associate Scientist I staff
  • Complete daily and weekly laboratory logs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) in chemistry, or related subject required
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a lab setting (academic, industry, or research lab) required
  • Proficient English Language written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations in different units of measurement
  • Ability to use fractions, percentages, and ratios
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe
