About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research materials and methods, develop training programs, update or modify existing courses, and establish curricula
  • Oversee employee instruction and perform administrative duties such as scheduling classes and organizing enrollment
  • Facilitate training in virtual, in-person, and other modalities through the Organizational Development and Learning department
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation, New Leader Orientation, Leadership Development curricula, Consumer Experience, technical trainings, and other educational programs
  • Facilitate solo or co-facilitated training for frontline employees through leadership
  • Prepare training locations and ensure instructors have required tools, technical equipment, materials, resources, and catering
  • Assist in assessing training needs through surveys, employee interviews, and consultations with managers or instructors
  • Collaborate with Training Specialists, Instructional Designers, and stakeholders to conduct needs analysis and identify knowledge gaps
  • Assist with designing and creating training content and materials, including guides, manuals, and job aids
  • Develop online training content with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, and leaders
  • Collect training evaluations and assist in evaluating training content and facilitation
  • Use the Learning Management System to track and report attendance and obtain training feedback
  • Review existing training modules with internal partners
  • Monitor costs, manage enrollment, schedule classes and locations in the LMS, print training materials, and send invitations
  • Report to the Director of Organizational Development and Learning
  • Provide safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience coordinating and delivering employee development programs for all levels of employees
  • Excellent presentation skills to clearly convey complex blends of business and technical matters to a range of audiences
  • Open to commuting between sites as needed
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone OnDemand or other)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Capability to interact with individuals at all levels within an organization
  • Experience in a healthcare environment a plus
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to different life cycles
