About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write C# tests and build test automation for complex .NET codebases
  • Use AI tools to generate functional, API, integration, and regression test coverage
  • Build and own test automation in CI/CD pipelines
  • Design and run performance, load, and stress tests for database-heavy, high-volume systems
  • Apply functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and exploratory testing according to risk
  • Lead the QA Guild and establish technical testing standards across squads
  • Coach and develop two Testers toward automation and engineering depth
  • Collaborate with engineers early, review code, and improve design testability
  • Convert production Support tickets into regression tests
  • Help shape quality practices for software running in global banks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong, production-hardened C#/.NET experience
  • AI-assisted development using tools such as Cursor and Claude Code
  • Experience building test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • API and functional testing experience
  • Performance testing experience, including load and stress testing
  • Database knowledge with MSSQL or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and exploratory testing
  • Ability to lead a QA Guild
  • Mentoring and coaching experience or aptitude
  • Ability to work effectively in demanding on-premises bank environments
  • Business-minded approach to risk
  • Must-have: C#/.NET, test automation in CI/CD, API and functional testing, performance testing, MSSQL or PostgreSQL, AI-assisted development
  • Nice to have: Playwright/Selenium, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Python, fintech experience
