About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own end-to-end design for data security and file security features, including DLP policy configuration, file scanning and sanitization flows, sensitive data detection alerts, and quarantine and remediation workflows
  • Translate complex security and compliance logic into configurable, understandable admin experiences
  • Design interaction patterns for AI/ML-driven classification and detection, including confidence and risk indicators, explanations, review, override, and appeal paths
  • Design end-user experiences such as file download warnings, redaction previews, and access requests
  • Partner with product management and engineering to scope features, conduct customer and admin discovery, and iterate through delivery
  • Use AI-assisted tools to synthesize interviews, support tickets, and usability sessions into prioritized insights
  • Extend the design system with security-specific patterns, including risk indicators, policy builders, and data flow visualizations
  • Mentor designers and contribute to team-wide craft, process, and responsible AI-tool adoption standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of product design experience, including B2B or enterprise application audiences
  • Experience designing for technical or admin audiences, including policy builders, rules engines, dashboards, or configuration-heavy interfaces
  • Systems thinking and ability to map multi-step workflows with conditional logic and edge cases
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex, rules-based systems simplified into usable interfaces
  • Proficiency in Figma and modern design system workflows
  • Working fluency with AI-assisted design and research tools, with judgment to validate outputs
  • Preferred: Experience partnering with product management and engineering in an agile environment
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DLP, content inspection, and sensitive data classification
  • Preferred: Knowledge of AI/ML-driven products or AI security
  • Preferred: Experience mentoring or growing other designers
